As the race transitioned from the coastal flats to the interior's undulating landscape, the trio began to build a substantial lead. The final 59 kilometers introduced a series of formidable climbs, including two extended ascents followed by three "muri"—short, intensely steep sections that tested every rider's resolve. Narváez, supported by Bjerg's tireless efforts, showed immense strength.
